Azerbaijan will make changes in the rules of residence for Russian citizens
Baku will change the rules for the temporary stay of Russian citizens in Azerbaijan. This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Referring to the new rules adopted on the temporary stay of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan noted:
"The new rules introduced by the Russian side and the tightening of the requirements for the duration of stay in the country are considered first of all in the context of the rights of our citizens. The principles of equality and reciprocity in foreign policy, temporary residence, and migration will guide the Azerbaijani side.
In this regard, changes to the rules governing the temporary stay of Russian Federation citizens in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan are planned in the coming days.
