More than 150 representatives of the "Georgian Dream" have been sanctioned

More than 150 "Georgian Dream" representatives and their related persons have come under Western sanctions and presented by Transparency International Georgia.

45 names have been publicly mentioned; the rest are subject to visa restrictions, which were introduced without specifying the recipients.

Sanctioned lists include members of the Georgian government and parliament, high-ranking security forces, members and supporters of the "Georgian Dream," judges, municipal leaders, businessmen, and relatives.

The restrictions were introduced in 2023-2024 by the USA, Great Britain, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine. In addition to visa restrictions (indicated in yellow in the table), they provide for economic and financial measures (indicated in red).

The reason for the restrictions was the brutal pressure on peaceful protesters, the undermining of democracy, the obstruction of the European integration process of Georgia, the promotion of Russian interests in Georgia, the falsification of elections, corruption, propaganda, and opposing the will of the Georgian people.
