The presidents of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan had a telephone conversation discussing the progress of the plane crash investigation.
The President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, announced that a special commission was immediately created on his instructions to investigate the plane's downing. He also noted that the representatives of the Embraer company have already arrived in Kazakhstan and are actively participating in the investigation.
During the telephone conversation, the parties exchanged ideas about the preliminary investigation. They expressed confidence that the causes of the disaster would be fully investigated as a result of the ongoing investigation.
Notably, this telephone conversation occurred after the press conference of the director of "Rosaviation," Dmitry Yadrov, who announced that the pilot had decided to fly to Aktanu, ignoring other offers.
