Yonhap News reported that South Korean intelligence confirmed the information about the capture of the first North Korean soldier.
"Thanks to the exchange of information with the intelligence service of a friendly country, we confirm the fact of the capture of a wounded North Korean soldier and intend to study the further development of the situation carefully," the statement said.
