"Turkey continues negotiations with Azerbaijan over the Zangezur Corridor." Uraloglu
Abdulkadir Uraloglu, the Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, noted that the Syrian settlement process would be faster if Turkey's relations with Syria improved in terms of transport and communications.
He emphasized that Turkey continues to work on various transport projects that contribute to the development of the Caucasus. In addition, Uraloglu noted that Turkey is actively working towards implementing the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and "Zangezuri Corridor" projects. He also said that the negotiations with Azerbaijan on the "Zangezur Corridor" project are ongoing.
The minister stated that Turkey is strengthening its influence in the transportation systems of the Caucasus and Western Asia to benefit regional trade and communication.
He also emphasized that Turkey must implement these projects to strengthen its regional role.
