Peter Fischer, the German ambassador to Tbilisi, said on social media that Germany has stopped implementing 237 million euros of projects in Georgia due to the Georgian government's actions.
"Unfortunately, Germany has stopped projects worth 237 million euros with Georgia. The Ministry of Economic Development reacts to Georgia's deviation from the EU path and suppression of protests. We have stopped financing Batumi's green hydrogen, energy grid, and water infrastructure. The support of civil society and the rule of law is maintained," the diplomat wrote.
