Israel bombed the capital of Yemen

Yemen's capital, Sana'a, and port cities were hit by Israeli airstrikes, killing at least nine people. Al Jazeera reports, referring to the Houthi-controlled Mass Media.

Israel's military said it struck "military facilities" used by the Houthis on Thursday morning in response to a rocket fired at Israel.

"The targets of the attack were used for military operations of the Houthis," the Israeli military said in a statement.

Al Masirah, the main Houthi news channel, reported that seven people were killed in the attacks following the strikes on As Salif port and the rest after two strikes on the Ras Issa oil facility.

According to the report, two power stations located in the southern and northern parts of the capital, Sana'a, were also damaged in the areas controlled by the Houthis.

The Yemeni Ministry of Defense described the attack as an "aggressive act," noting that it could have serious consequences for regional security.
