The commander of the unmanned systems of the armed forces of Ukraine, Vadym Sukharevsky, announced that the country had developed its laser weapon. "Today, if I'm not mistaken, Ukraine is the fifth country worldwide that can claim to have a combat laser. We can already shoot down planes from a height of more than two kilometers," Sukharevsky said.
The commander noted that the Ukrainian laser weapon is a "Tryzub" (trident). Preparations for its modernization and launch are currently underway.
Sukharevsky's statement still does not clarify the weapon's technical characteristics, appearance, or whether it was tested in combat.
