Peskov referred to the possibility of deployment of peacekeepers in Ukraine

The spokesman of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, stated that Russia continues its "special operation" in Ukraine, and there is no question of negotiations.

"The deployment of peacekeepers is possible only with the parties' agreement to the conflict," he said, referring to the observation that the West intends to occupy Ukraine by introducing peacekeeping troops. "It is premature to talk about peacekeepers in Ukraine," he said.

According to Peskov, Kyiv refuses to negotiate with Russia as before. "Possible negotiations can be based on the Istanbul agreements," he said.

Speaking about the Russian military bases in Syria, Peskov noted that there is still no final decision in Moscow on this matter.
