Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also discussed Syria's fate, noting, "It is not easy to get different groups and factions to agree on the future government in Syria. But we support it because we want the will of the Syrian people to prevail."
Aragchi warned of the risks of a civil war in Syria, the collapse of the country, and turning it into a base for terrorists after the opposition captured Damascus.
Regarding Iran's attitude towards the new Syrian authorities, Araghchi said: "This depends on how far they will be from Israel and terrorist groups."
