The president of Korea has been banned from leaving the country

South Korea's Ministry of Justice has imposed a travel ban on President Yoon Suk-Yeol.

At the same time, Reuter, citing the Ministry of Defense, reports that Yun Suk Yeol continues to be the supreme commander.

The Korean president was prosecuted for declaring martial law last week, and Yoon's authority has been called into question by growing discontent among the president's senior military. His own party has announced that a special panel will be formed to discuss his possible resignation.

He is being investigated for treason.
