The President of the United States, Joe Biden, closely follows the events in Syria.
White House National Security Council Press Secretary Shawn Savet announced this on his X social network page.
"President Biden and his team are closely following the extraordinary events taking place in Syria and are in constant contact with regional partners," he said.
