Syrian rebels have announced that they have begun encircling Damascus

Syrian rebels are approaching Damascus. They are located about 12 miles from the city, reports France 24.

According to the media, the terrorists also said that they began encircling Damascus after capturing nearby towns on Saturday, but the Syrian Ministry of Defense denied this.

The commander of the terrorist alliance, Hassan Abdel Ghani, said, "Our forces have begun the final phase of encircling the capital, Damascus."
