Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Georgia discussed regional issues

On December 2, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Georgia, Maka Bochorishvili, had a telephone conversation. Bayramov congratulated his colleague on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the newly created government of Georgia and wished him success in his position.

The parties discussed the current state of friendly and strategic partnership between the two countries and their plans and prospects for further developing these relations.

It was emphasized that the existing political dialogue between the countries, intensive visits, and the consultation mechanism further strengthened strategic partnership relations. The ministers also exchanged ideas on regional issues and areas of cooperation within international organizations.
