According to Assad, the ongoing escalation aims to redraw the maps based on America's interests and goals.
The Iranian president also expressed his support for Syria and the country's actions in the fight against terrorism.
"Damaging the territorial integrity of Syria is a blow to the region, stability, and unity of its countries," said Pezeshkian.
