Iran-backed groups have entered Syria from Iraq

Reuters agency reports that Iranian-backed militias, including the Iraqi "Kataib Hezbollah" and "Fatemiyoun" groups, entered Syria from Iraq at night.

Middle Eastern media reported that dozens of "Hashd al-Shaabi" fighters crossed the border near Al-Bukamal, and the forces were directed to the northern directions of the front.

Earlier, the Iranian mass media reported that the Iraqi authorities had wholly closed the border with Syria.
