"This gives grounds to recognize the political party as unconstitutional." Kobakhidze

At the government meeting, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze announced that the "National Movement" group has openly opposed Georgia's constitutional order, which gives grounds for declaring the political party unconstitutional.

As the head of the government noted, the collective "national movement" is in the mode of self-destruction.

"Before the elections, we discussed the possibility of declaring political parties unconstitutional. We linked it to obtaining a constitutional majority, but the processes are going so that such a process can be initiated even without a constitutional majority. Today, they openly expressed their opposition to the constitutional order of Georgia, which gives grounds for declaring a political party unconstitutional. We will wait for the rest. How will the processes continue? Everything is in our hands," stated Irakli Kobakhidze.
