Netanyahu threatened "intense war" in case of ceasefire violation

In the first interview after the establishment of a ceasefire in Lebanon, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that if "Hezbollah" violates the agreement, an "intense war" will begin.

The prime minister announced that he had instructed the Israel Defense Forces that "in the event of a massive violation of the agreement," retaliatory measures would be implemented, "such as are currently being done."

The day after the ceasefire agreement took effect, the IDF Command lifted all restrictions on gatherings south of Haifa.

However, restrictions remain in place in various regions of northern Israel, and schools in north-border towns and the Golan Heights will remain closed.
