The newly elected US President, Donald Trump, is unlikely to be able to end the war in Ukraine on favorable terms for our country. This was announced by the former Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Dmitry Kuleba, in an interview with Politico.
According to him, Putin does not intend to sign a deal with Ukraine. He added that Trump could collapse the Ukrainian front lines if the US stops giving weapons to Kyiv.
"Putin still believes he can destroy Ukrainian statehood and crush Ukraine as an independent democracy and believes he is one step away from showing weakness to the West. "Ukraine is Putin's obsession, but crushing Ukraine is also a way to achieve his great goal, to show the whole world that the West is not capable of defending itself or what it stands for," explained the former Foreign Minister of Ukraine.
