Russia wants to establish stable peace for many years in the situation around Ukraine. Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin informed the journalists about this.
"We need strong and long-term peace. Moreover, this peace must be ensured first for us, the citizens of Russia, and the entire European continent," he said.
Naryshkin noted that Russia categorically rejects any option to freeze the conflict in Ukraine. The head of the foreign intelligence service reminded me that the condition for ensuring peace is eliminating the factors that cause the Ukrainian conflict.
