Trump threatened Mexico and Canada

The newly elected US President Donald Trump has threatened Mexico and Canada with 25% tariffs.

"Everybody knows that thousands of people are coming [to the US] from Mexico and Canada, and that's why crime and drug trafficking have reached unprecedented levels. On January 20, one of my first orders will be to sign all the necessary documents to impose a 25% tariff on all goods shipped to the United States from Mexico and Canada," the president-elect wrote on social networks.

The politician explained that these tariffs will be in effect until drugs and illegal immigrants stop flooding the US. He believes that the countries on this list have all the opportunities to settle the situation before taking steps.

"Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to resolve this long-standing issue easily," Trump wrote.
