The Israeli government has approved a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the government of Israel approved the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon.

"Tonight, we will present an agreement on a ceasefire to the Cabinet of Ministers, preserving the complete freedom of military operations," he said.

Netanyahu clarified that if "Hezbollah" violates the agreement, Israel will retaliate.

"There are three reasons for the ceasefire, one of which is to focus on the Iranian threat," the Israeli Prime Minister added.
