"Europeans are obliged to comply with the order of the Hague court." Borrell

The head of the EU diplomatic service, Josep Borrell, stated that Europeans must fulfill the International Criminal Court's warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; otherwise, it will manifest European double standards.

"The EU member states showed a lot of support, and when the court decided to detain Russian President Vladimir Putin, many applauded, and some are silent today. As the European Commission's vice president and a high representative, I want to express my support to the International Criminal Court and remind the European Union member states that they are obliged to comply with the court's decision," Borrell said.

According to him, the court's decision has nothing to do with anti-Semitism, and it is not a political decision.

"It is assumed that the candidate countries of the European Union should integrate the criminal court among their obligations. "It will be extraordinary that those who want to become members of the European Union will have to fulfill standards that the current members of the European Union do not meet," the high representative of the EU expressed concern.
