Donald Trump's new national security adviser, Mike Waltz, said the president-elect's transition team is working closely with President Joe Biden's outgoing administration on the war in Ukraine and other important national security issues.
Republican Rep. Mike Waltz said in an interview on Fox News Sunday that he spoke with Biden's national security adviser, Jack Sullivan, to ensure the current White House and Trump's transition team are working "hand in hand."
"Our adversaries, who think that now is the time of favorable opportunity, that they can pit one administration against another, are mistaken. We act hand in hand. We are one team with the United States in this transition period," Waltz said.
