Iran activates modern centrifuges in response to 'anti-Iranian' resolution at IAEA

The decision was taken in response to the resolution adopted by the IAEA Board of Governors at the initiative of the European Troika and with the support of the US, which was called "anti-Iranian" in Tehran.
The statement called the resolution a political, unrealistic, and counterproductive measure.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has consistently emphasized at all levels that confrontation and the illegal use of the IAEA Board of Governors to achieve any political and illegal goals will provoke a retaliatory response," the statement said.
With all this, it emphasizes that technical and safeguards cooperation with the IAEA will continue, as before, according to the agreement between the nuclear agency and Iran.
