The US does not share the decision to detain Netanyahu and Galant

The United States does not share the International Court of Justice's decision to issue arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Galant.

In a briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the US will discuss the next steps with its partners, including Israel.

"We reject the court's decision to issue arrest warrants for high-ranking Israeli officials. We are deeply concerned about the prosecutor's request for an arrest warrant and the troubling errors in the process that led to this decision. The United States has clarified that the International Court of Justice does not have jurisdiction in this matter. We will discuss the next steps with our partners, including Israel," Karine Jean-Pierre said.
