Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile for the first time

The Air Force of Ukraine reports that early this morning, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Astrakhan region. The attack targeted the city of Dnipro. "Various types of missiles" were used during the attack.

This is the first time Russia has fired an intercontinental ballistic missile at Ukraine during the conflict, and the Ukrainian military also says six X-101 cruise missiles were shot down.

Note that intercontinental ballistic missiles can cover thousands of kilometers.
