Scholz rejected Kiev

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has reiterated that he will not supply Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine and rejected the idea of allowing the use of German-made weapons to strike Russian territory.

Scholz explained that the supply of Taurus missiles, which can hit targets at a distance of up to 500 km, would make Berlin directly responsible for their use.

"That is what I cannot and will not do," the Chancellor emphasized.
