"We should not expect a miracle from Trump." Zelensky

Speaking in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky announced, "It is necessary to work every day, not to expect a miracle from the newly elected US President Donald Trump."

He noted that Pokrovsk and Kupyansk have been enduring difficult trials for months.

"It was there and in other directions that Russia suffered the biggest losses in this war. We all need to understand what the enemy is paying that price for. Russia wants to destroy our state and our people. "Ukraine's resilience in this war, from Kupyansk to Pokrovsk and, later, Zaporizhzhia, can provide fundamental prerequisites for the just end of this war," Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, the fate of Europe also depends on the endurance of Ukrainians so that everyone can live freely and not obey any dictator.

"This battle is not only about Pokrovsky, Kupyansk, or any other town or village of ours but about the whole of Ukraine, Europe, the order or chaos of the whole world. And while the whole world is waiting for a miracle from Trump, you and I should not wait; we should not lose endurance. We have to work hard every day, as a nation, for the sake of the stability of the state. It is simply impossible to win this battle individually," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
