Turan reported, referring to informed sources, that American congressman Frank Pallone interrupted his visit to Azerbaijan on Sunday evening and left.
According to the media, Paloun's departure is due to his negative attitude towards Azerbaijani politics. The congressman arrived in Baku to participate in the COP-29 conference.
On November 16, President Ilham Aliyev received a group of American congressmen, but Pillow was not allowed to participate in that meeting. Turan also emphasizes that Pallone is known for his pro-Armenian stance, openly promoting Armenian interests and calling for sanctions against Baku. It is noted that yesterday, pro-government NGOs also protested in front of the hotel where the congressman was staying.
