A week after the brawl between Israeli and Muslim fans in Amsterdam, there was a brief clash between a small number of fans at the start of yesterday's France-Israel football match.
Despite the enhanced security measures at the stadium, the organizers could not prevent the clash of fans.
About 10 minutes after the start of the game, a fight broke out in the upper part of the tribune behind the goal. Some of the participants had Israeli flags on their backs. What caused the dispute needs to be clarified.
The match at the Stade de France ended in a 0-0 draw without further incident.
It should be noted that French President Emmanuel Macron participated in the meeting and watched it from the tribune as a sign of solidarity. Notably, former French presidents Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande also attended the meeting with Macron.
