During the opening ceremony of the United States pavilion at COP29, US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark Libby announced that a group of hydrologists and engineers from Azerbaijan and Armenia, with the US's support, are working together on an integrated water resource management scheme for transboundary rivers in the region.
According to the US ambassador, Azerbaijan has significant solar and wind energy potential and is showing its leadership in sustainable development and emissions reduction in the hydrocarbon sector at COP29.
