According to its sources, the Financial Times reported that Ukraine's authorities have developed a "victory plan," considering that Republican Donald Trump will become the next president of the United States.
The program was developed in an attempt to sway Trump, who is in favor of ending funding to Ukraine and a quick end to the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The " Victory Plan " has prepared two proposals, especially for Trump." The first is replacing part of the American troops in Europe with Ukrainians after the end of the war. Second, Ukraine will share critical natural resources with Western partners. According to FT, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham developed the latest proposal. Graham's office had no comment.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky presented the two proposals in September during a meeting with Donald Trump in New York. An FT source familiar with the meeting said that Trump was interested in the proposals.
As the FT notes, Ukrainian business representatives also suggest that the authorities give Trump "investment selection" powers to decide who can do business in the country. One of the sources said that this proposal is called "ABC - anybody but China." According to the interlocutor, the proposal implies that those branches of Ukrainian industry that depend on Chinese technologies and materials, such as telecommunications, will switch to American technologies. The proposal is in its early stages, but some businessmen believe it could interest Trump.
It is also proposed to replace the ambassador of Ukraine to the USA, who had warm relations with the democrats. It is reported that former foreign minister Kuleba was nominated for this position, but Dmitry rejected it.
