Israel's newly appointed foreign minister, Gideon Saar, has expressed concern over the "low" number of arrests in the Netherlands following clashes between Maccabi Tel Aviv fans and Palestinian fans from the local Muslim community.
"The mayor of Amsterdam told me that they have created a special investigative team, but I can say that the number of arrests so far is minimal," said Saar.
At the weekend, the Amsterdam police reported that 4 of the 60 arrested remained in custody.
It should be noted that at least 10 Israelis were injured as a result of clashes in Amsterdam.
