Azerbaijan and Armenia are close to reaching a final agreement on the text of the peace treaty. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this during a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

He said that the negotiations will continue after the end of COP29.

Scholz, in turn, noted that his country supports the establishment of peace and neighborly relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
