Washington has been allowed to correct past mistakes and review old, wrong approaches, and Ismail Baghaei, the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, has been declared.
"The responsibility of electing the US president lies with the people. Now, people have already made their own choices. These elections are an opportunity to review and rethink the wrong approaches of the past," he said.
According to him, in Tehran, people remember the bitter experience of the past in their interactions with previous US administrations.
