The official welcoming ceremony of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, took place in the Elysée Palace.
At the central entrance, Kasim-Jomart Tokaev was met by French President Emmanuel Macron.
"I attach great importance to my visit, which marks a new milestone in the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and France. I am sure that today's negotiations, as well as the joint statement we adopted, will contribute to raising the relations between Kazakhstan and France to the level of strategic partnership," the president of Kazakhstan announced at the meeting with an expanded composition.
The President of France highlighted the negotiations that have taken place, which will give an additional boost to the Kazakh-French cooperation.
"Thanks to you, the partnership between our countries has strengthened significantly in recent years," Emmanuel Macron said.
The parties also exchanged ideas on urgent topics of the regional and international agenda.
