US President Joe Biden referred to the presidential elections in Moldova, where the current leader, Maia Sandu, won.
"On Sunday, the Moldovan people went to the polls and voted for President Sandu's vision of a safe, prosperous, democratic Moldova. For months, Russia has sought to undermine Moldova's democratic institutions and electoral processes. But Russia failed. The Moldovan people have decided to follow the path that corresponds to Europe and democracies," President Biden wrote.
