Barcelona airport has delayed dozens of flights due to flooding

After Valencia, the elements hit Catalonia. Residents are urged to leave their homes only if necessary. A red level of danger has been declared in some regions. Heavy rains flooded the highways.

Barcelona's El Prat airport, the second largest in the country, canceled or delayed dozens of flights. Rail services were also suspended in the north-east of Catalonia.
