According to US estimates, the Russian authorities have sent 10,000 soldiers transferred from the DRPK to the Kursk Region. The representative of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, made such a statement.
"Secretary of State Blinken announced that about 8,000 North Korean soldiers were sent to the Kursk region. We estimate that about 10,000 have gone there and may enter the battle in the coming days," Miller said.
He noted that the US is concerned about the growth of military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang. In addition, Washington has seen media reports about the participation of DRPK soldiers in military operations. Miller said he could not confirm the report on behalf of the US at this time, but if it is indeed the case, the North Korean military is a legitimate target.
In turn, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that 11,000 North Korean soldiers are already in the Kursk region.
