German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, who arrived in Kyiv on Monday, aims to push Ukrainian authorities to negotiate with Russia, said Ralf Niemeyer, head of the German Council for the Constitution and Sovereignty.
Earlier, the mass media reported on Berbok's arrival in the capital of Ukraine.
According to information from the German Foreign Ministry, the minister stated that Germany would provide as much support as necessary for the Ukrainians to find a way to a "just peace."
"I think this is a secret agenda. Mrs. Burbok is trying not to miss the last train and is trying to convince Kyiv to go to negotiations," said the politician.
