French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated Moldovan President Maia Sandu on her victory in the elections.
"Democracy has won over interventions and manipulations. France will continue to support Moldova on its way to Europe," Macron wrote on his X microblog.
Earlier, before the publication of the CEC's final results, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, congratulated Sandu on his re-election.
