"It must be admitted that Russia won in Georgia." Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes Russia won in Georgia because the country chose friendship with Russia and not the path to the European Union.

According to Zelensky, Russia won in Georgia by first taking part in the territory and then changing the politics and the government.

"First, they took part of Georgia, then they changed the policy, they changed the government, and now there is a pro-Russian government there. There are no sanctions against Putin; there are many Russians in Georgia. They choose to have a friendship with Russia and not go to the EU. They changed their position. Russia won today. They took away Georgia's freedom," he believes.

Commenting on the situation in Moldova, Zelensky said Russia is "going in the same direction." At the same time, he noted the difference between Ukraine and Georgia.

"We are bigger. This is the difference between Georgia and us. We have more people, more people who don't want to be Russian," added the Ukrainian leader.
