The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, had a telephone conversation with the President of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol. They discussed the expected involvement of the North Korean military by Kyiv and Seoul in military operations against the armed forces of Ukraine.
"We discussed the involvement of the North Korean military in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. There is only one conclusion: this war is internationalized and goes beyond the borders of the two countries," said Zelensky.
According to him, he provided the South Korean president with new information about the transfer of 3 thousand North Korean soldiers to Russian military training facilities in the immediate vicinity of the military operations zone and the expected increase in their number (up to about 12 thousand).
"We have agreed to strengthen the exchange of intelligence and expertise," he added.
