Attempts were made to assassinate Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico for the second time. The Prime Minister announced this in an interview with the Standard periodical.
According to Fico, the incident occurred on October 6 in Dukla, which he visited on the anniversary of the Carpathian-Duklinian operation in the Second World War.
"We caught a very militant person who hates me for my stance on Ukraine. He was armed, but, fortunately, he did not appear in the zone where we were but went to the zone where the crowd was. There, he passed through the frame of the metal detector, and it turned out that he had a fully loaded gun," Fico said.
