After winning the parliamentary elections, Georgia's ruling party expects to restore relations with the EU by the beginning of 2025.
Georgia's Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, has stated that integration into the European Union remains Georgia's main foreign policy priority for the coming years. "We have critical foreign policy priorities; the main priority is European integration. We expect the restart of relations, which, I think, will happen intensively from the beginning of next year," said Kobakhidze at today's government meeting.
