The USA threatened Georgia with consequences

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said the United States has threatened Georgia with consequences if Tbilisi maintains its current trajectory.

"This year, we have constantly called on the Georgian government to stop its anti-democratic actions and return to the Euro-Atlantic path; we do not rule out further consequences if the direction of the Georgian government does not change," he said, commenting on the results of the elections in Georgia and the policy of the country's authorities.

Miller added that Washington joins calls from international and domestic observers for a full investigation into the alleged voting irregularities.
