Peter Stano, spokesperson for EU foreign relations, said the European integration referendum in Moldova was passed under unprecedented interference by Russia and its proxies.
"This vote took place under unprecedented interference and intimidation by Russia and its proxies. Russia aims to destabilize the democratic processes in Moldova. The EU has been conducting a mission in Moldova for a year and a half, the sole purpose of which is the information struggle against Russia. The representatives of that mission and the diplomats of the European embassies are the sources of the European Commission's information about the voting process," said Stano.
Answering the question about the reasons for the low efficiency of European propaganda in Moldova, Stano stated that analyzing the reasons takes time.
