The US has never linked COP29 to a possible peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This was announced by the head of the State Department's press service, Matthew Miller, in a regular briefing.
"We have never linked this agreement to COP29. A few months ago, we wanted to see a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and insisted it be reached. However, it depends on the parties, not on the United States," he explained.
