Israel hit one of the villages in the north of Lebanon; there were 21 victims

According to the BBC, the country's authorities announced at least 21 people were killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike in northern Lebanon.

The attack was delivered to the village of Aytu, where most Christians live.

This location is quite far from Beirut and other areas where the Israeli army usually strikes. According to the information from the scene, a residential building was utterly destroyed due to the impact.

Israel has not yet commented on the incident, but on Monday, the country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to "continue to strike Hezbollah throughout Lebanon."

He made this statement during a visit to a military base in the north of Israel, where on Sunday, four Israeli soldiers were killed and several dozen wounded as a result of a Hezbollah drone attack. This was the most significant attack carried out by a Lebanese group on Israel in the past year.

Residents of Aita village told reporters that there was no warning before the strike, only one powerful explosion.
